Tips for Saving on San Francisco Zoo Tickets for California Residents

Resident Ticket Discounts
California residents can take advantage of special admission prices:
- Adult (ages 12–64): $31 (Weekends & Holidays) / $29 (Weekdays)
- Senior (ages 65+): $23 (Weekends & Holidays) / $21 (Weekdays)
- Child (ages 2–11): $21 (Weekends & Holidays) / $19 (Weekdays)
- Children under 2: Free

Military Discounts
Active-duty and retired military personnel can purchase tickets at the discounted resident rates. Verification of military status is completed through SheerID at the ticket window. However, note that the complimentary resident days do not extend to military tickets.
Discounts for Guests with Disabilities
Guests with disabilities can also purchase tickets at the resident rate, though they are not eligible for the free resident days. Furthermore, EBT/SNAP cardholders can buy admission tickets for up to four individuals at $5 each, or $3 for SF residents, via the Museums for All program at the zoo’s ticket window. Ensure that you present a matching photo ID along with your named EBT/SNAP card.
$1 Discount for Taking Muni
The zoo encourages visitors to use public transportation. If you arrive via Muni, bring your same-day Muni receipt to the ticket window for a $1 discount on admission. Public transport options include the Muni L Taraval line and bus lines 23 and 18, which directly stop at the zoo.
Zoo Membership
